Every course should have a risk and reward par four, James Braid liked designing a hole which gave golfers a choice to make and the fourteenth certainly does that.

Shorter hitters will need to lay up in between two ditches avoiding the right-side fairway bunker. The longer player may wish to take on the green which is well protected by bunkers and a tree on the right-hand side.
